Postcards Across Canada

Postcards Across Canada is a new digital series from James Beard Award- and Emmy Award-nominated executive producer Capri S. Cafaro.

In Postcards, Capri travels from the Prairies to the Maritimes using food to capture Canada’s cultural mosaic.

The first episode, released earlier this year, takes Capri to Prince Edward County, a vibrant artisan food and agritourism destination in Ontario known for its abundant terroir perfect for growing wine grapes and cider apples.

Subsequent episodes feature Montreal as a multicultural, urban agriculture hub; Cape Breton Nova Scotia’s distinct Acadian, Mi’kmaq and Gaelic culinary, linguistic and music traditions; Saskatoon’s rural landscape, indigenous roots and Ukrainian diaspora; and French colonial foodways at the Fortress of Louisbourg.
